Constable Ian came in to do the stepping out programme with Room 9 and 9a
Constable Ian taught us that when we get to a road, we have to STOP, Look and LISTEN for traffic.
We also have to be careful when we come across sneaky driveways.
We talked about how to cross a zebra crossing. Sadly it was too wet to go out on the road but we used our car mat as a pretend road. We had to practice Stopping, looking and listening before we crossed the road.
We had to keep looking and listening as we crossed the road to keep ourselves safe.
If we are lucky and it is not raining some of us might get to practice by crossing the real road next week.
So important to learn to to STOP, Look and LISTEN for traffic when crossing the road so that we all stay safe!
