As a follow up from the road safety talk we had in our classrooms a few weeks ago, Constable Ian Willetts came to school to do a presentation for the Koru Whanau on Friday.
We talked about how you have to STOP, LOOK and LISTEN before you cross the street, how to check sneaky driveways and how to cross a pedestrian crossing.
Some people answered questions and won a prize!
Here is a video to help us learn more and remind us what to do.
Always good to be reminded about the benefits of walking and how we have to look out for dangers such as crossing in front of a stationary bus and sneaky driveways. My favourite part was the YouTube clip where we met Moe who was exploring all about road safety. They were great messages to hear.
